We’re looking for a Java Software Engineer to work from our Bangalore office; you’ll be an integral team player building, creating and shaping the platforms that are used throughout the world. You will be part of the Personal Cloud Customer Guild team and be instrumental in application development to enable new Cloud customers and also helping our existing legacy customers migrate to the latest platform

• Focus on customization of our product to meet customer requirements
• Focus on configuration of complex scalable applications
• Design and develop n-tier applications in Java using Agile practices
• Communication of designs and other development issues to developers and managers
• Design, develop and manage automated unit and acceptance tests
• Participate in peer review of design, code and automated tests.
• Participate in agile development program
• Design and develop integration solutions to customer’s backend systems.
• Work closely with other teams and customers to ensure delivery of production systems

• N-Tier design and development with apps hosted in AWS/EKS
• Excellent knowledge of Java, Apache Tomcat, J2EE
• Knowledge of RDBMS – Oracle/MariaDB
• Java Messaging/RabbitMQ
• Knowledge of REST principles used to develop REST APIs
• Knowledge of Spring & Hibernate frameworks, especially spring boot & spring-cloud-config
• Kubernetes and container knowledge
• Minimum 5 years java development in a n-tier development
• Bachelors in computing, mathematics or science
• Knowledge of Cloud technologies like AWS, Hadoop, Cassandra, NoSQL
• Experience of working in an agile (XP) environmen

• Experience troubleshooting application performance bottlenecks
• Knowledge of Web 2.0 software infrastructure
• Knowledge of Cucumber, JMeter, JUnit, Maven & Gradle
• Knowledge of scalability and resilience techniques
• Understanding of software configuration management and release management
• XML experience
• UML Design

• Unix development background
• BI / Analytics
• Scripting skills – Python, Bash
• Knowledge of web application security (Owasp etc.)
