We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Product Owner to join our team in Tokyo, Japan. The Product Owner will play a key role in the development and enhancement of our cloud mobile applications by analyzing user data, conducting market research, and providing valuable insights to drive product strategy and decision-making.

How you will help:

Product Analysis and Roadmap:

  • Obtain voice of the customer, liaison with product management team and solutions teams, collaborate with delivery org for deployment and planning.
  • Assist in the coordination of product features, enhancements, ticket triage, and UAT support.
  • Translate the solution vision into clearly articulated end-to-end use cases and user stories.
  • Lead Agile teams through the development process as part of a Product Owner role including creating and maintaining product backlog, prioritizing features, creating user stories, and defining acceptance criteria.
  • Be an expert in the product to address customer questions, needs, and provide necessary guidance with their go to market efforts.

Data Analysis:

  • Analyze user data and feedback to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement in our cloud mobile applications.
  • Utilize data analytics tools and techniques to extract actionable insights that inform product development and optimization efforts. 

Market Research:

  • Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging technologies relevant to our cloud mobile applications.
  • Monitor and analyze competitor products and strategies to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for differentiation.
  • Stay abreast of market developments and customer preferences to anticipate evolving needs and market demands.

Reporting and Communication:

  • Prepare and present reports, dashboards, and presentations summarizing key findings, insights, and recommendations to internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate data findings into actionable recommendations and strategies.

Who we have in mind:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in product analysis, data analysis, or related roles.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly and effectively.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong team player and contributor with can-do attitude.
  • Ability to act as a lead on scrum calls.
  • Fluency in Japanese and English, both written and verbal, is required.

It would be great if you had:

  • Experience in the development or analysis of cloud-based applications for mobile devices.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and product management practices.
  • Certification or training in data analytics, business analysis, or related fields.
